Kieran Convery
Kieran Convery won the Senior Fiddle Slow Air Competition in 1996 at the Fleadh Cheoil in Listowel. Kieran was taught by Portglenone C.C.E. co-founder and All-Ireland winner, Ann O'Brien who won the same competition exactly 20 years earlier in Buncrana 1976.
Kieran went on to be taught by Tommy McGoldrick who also won the Senior Slow Air All-Ireland in 1981. Tommy McGoldrick is now of course more famous for his paintings of Irish Scenery.
