Farewell to Robert Close
It is with great sorrow that we learn of the death of another of our esteemed Portglenone CCE members and previous Branch Committee member, Robert Close.
A passionate and talented musician, a lifelong supporter of Portglenone CCE, Robert Close was, and is, an example to all Irish Traditional musicians.
Always supportive of our Junior Sessions on Wednesday evenings in The Wild Duck and our annual sessions and events, Robert will be sadly missed by all of us, especially the CCE Junior members who enjoyed his presence and support (as you can see from the photos!!)
Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert's family and the wider family circle at this sad time.
