🎶🟡⚫ INSPIRED BY THE FLEADH? NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! ⚫🟡🎶
What a few weeks it has been for Irish traditional music!
The All Ireland Fleadh in Belfast was something truly special. Belfast was alive with music, song and dance, and for us in Portglenone CCE, one of the proudest parts was seeing our own young musicians right in the middle of it all – taking to the stage, playing together and representing our branch with such confidence and enthusiasm.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there…

☘️ The Ulster Fleadh is coming to Ballycastle in 2027
☘️ The All Ireland Fleadh is returning to Belfast in 2027

Two huge celebrations of traditional Irish music right on our doorstep – so there really couldn’t be a better time for our young people to pick up an instrument and become part of it! 🎻🎶
📣 REGISTRATION & OPEN EVENING – MONDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER
We are delighted to welcome new and existing members as we prepare for another exciting year of music at Portglenone CCE.
For us, teaching traditional music is about much more than learning the notes. We want our young people to play together, make friends, build confidence, perform on stage and develop a love for our music and culture that stays with them for life.
The young musicians you saw representing Portglenone at this year’s Fleadh all started somewhere. This September could be the beginning of that same journey for another generation.
And with Ballycastle and Belfast both hosting major Fleadh’s in 2027, imagine the opportunities ahead for the young musicians beginning or continuing their journey with us this September. ❤️
